All I want for Christmas: a seasonal series for mountain-bikers

What to buy a mountain-biker for Christmas?

Christmas is a-coming, the geese are getting fat. As are cyclists. But that’s OK, this is the time of year when the rides get fewer and farther in between and we start thinking about what to stock up on for the coming year in terms of MTB gear.

Replacing all those things we broke this year, buying those new exciting bits that will make our mountain-biking experience even more fulfilling next year…

So in this little series in the run-up to Christmas, I hope to gradually divulge my personal Christmas wish-list in the hope someone takes pity to help you out if you are thinking about what to buy the mountain-biker/cyclist in your life for Christmas.

I am partnering up with eBay/AuctionAds for this series, so the ad you see at the top of each article should give you a starting point for where to look for those bike bargains (sometimes they show ads for handbags and suchlike, I dunno what that’s all about, but just click and you should get taken to a page with more bike-like things on). And yes, I make HUGE amounts of money from these ads - might even replace my handlebar grips if turns out to be a good Christmas!

If you think others might want to read this post, don’t be selfish, click above to AddThis to Digg, Del.icio.us or just about any other bookmarking service and share and share alike!
