It’s been nice to see an increasing number of subscribers to the MTB-Serbia RSS feed over the 10 months-or-so this blog has been up and running. So I’d just like to say a quick thanks to all of you for allowing me into your inbox (it’s a modest number, but I appreciate every reader nonetheless). I know there are a lot of things competing for your inbox space.
It would be great to have some feedback (what about a comment, down below?) from you, to hear what you think of the blog - is there something you would like to see more of, less of? Is there some useful information you think I could be supplying readers? Should articles be more frequent? I would love to hear your thoughts.
What’s a feed?
By the way, if you are wondering what a feed is - well, it is a simple way to receive a regular summary of a blog, or news service you like. No personal information is exchanged, you decide when to start or stop receiving the updates. They do not arrive by mail, but rather they are directly downloaded from the site by your feed-reader/mail program. Usually you will receive a full copy of the latest article (in the case of my blog), so it means you do not have to even visit the site! Though some blog authors like to only send a summary via the feed, so that you HAVE to go to their blog to read the full article. I understand that logic, but I reckon if you like a blog, you will want to go and see anyway, leave comments, etc.
To subscribe to a news-feed (any, not just mine!), you just need to copy the link above (Eat MTB!), go into the News/News and Blogs area of your mail program and Add a new subscription, pasting the link, and articles will begin to appear - they usually do not update immediately, though. Let me know if you need any help with this!
If you think others might want to read this post, don’t be selfish, click above to AddThis to Digg, Del.icio.us or just about any other bookmarking service and share and share alike!
