This could be the one! The new bike that I am looking for, to replace my horrific old piece of junk, described elsewhere in these pages. I haven’t seen it yet (a friend put me onto someone who is selling it), but it sounds just the sort of level of bike I am looking for as a next-step-up. It’s all Deore gear basically, which is the kind of range I am looking at, and other than that, it’s just a solid all-round bike. Plus at 250 EUR top class condition (second-hand - what, you didn’t seriously think I would consider buying a NEW bike?! Why would anyone do that..?) the price is right! Watch this space!
