    Voda voda = water water!

voda-voda-water-water.JPGCouldn’t find my water bottle today - I think I chucked it at the end of last summer, because it was really horrible. But I needed water for today’s ride, and this was the only solution I could come up with (turned out to be a very poor solution, the VERY bumpy ride kept jogging it out)!

What is Voda voda?! I think it can best be described as a marketing triumph! Voda voda in Serbian simply means Water Water. It is a brand of non-carbonated natural spring water which is, to be honest, nothing special. But a very cunning bit of marketing - a simple, yet modern design, and a totally obvious, minimalistic name - have made this water massively popular in the three or four years it has been on the market in Serbia.

I think it is not much of an exaggeration to say you wouldn’t see most kids dead with any other water bottle in their hand at the Exit Festival, or anywhere else in public for that matter! It’s just one of those very simple, but effective ideas you wish you had thought of!

Look out though for my own take, coming soon - it’s going to make me millions! - it’s gonna be called Vazduh vazduh (Air Air)…
