Distance: 47km. Parted company with Zoran and met up with Straja in Uzice, this time loaded up with tent and gear too. it’s a weird feeling at first, with your centre of balance shifted up, but we had packed our panniers very lightly and it was suprisingly easy going. Apart from the detour.

After we finally got out of Uzice it was a pleasant ride through rolling countryside, albeit with quite a bit of demanding climbing. We are headed uphill to Zabljak after all…

The goal was Gostilje, a scenic spot where we camped last year on our Trek. Somehow it seemed to take forever to get there, the light was fading by the time we put up the tent and all in all we need to take it easier if we want to make it to Durmitor.
