Another deceptive day in terms of distance covered. Today was a half day’s ride anyway because we had a longish drive awaiting us after. We decided to go to the village of Bogutovac (near the banja - spa - of the same name, read foul-smelling spring water with supposed healing properties) in the company of a local biker from the town of Kraljevo called Kuša and climb a peak of the Troglav range named Kom.

Quite a slog up - to rival yesterday’s - with a climb the last 100m on foot to the peak at 1190m and more fantastic views, then a thrilling descent down to some great fish soup and the bumpy Niva drive on to Golija where a serious day’s ride awaits us tomorrow.
