Specialized have been producing bikes and bike accessories since 1974 and can claim to have manufactured the first mass-produced mountain bike in the world, the StumpJumper - a brand that’s still going strong today, countless models later.
The Specialized mission-statement has remained unchanged since the early days - “To give everyone the best ride of their life”, and where mountain bikes are concerned they achieve this with a range of XC, downhill and all-mountain bikes to suit just about anyone’s tastes.
Some of the most common models you will find for sale here are the RockHopper, Epic, Enduro and of course StumpJumper, of varying dates of production, from this year’s model going right back to the early vintage models, at a wide range of prices. All I can say is that if I was in the market for a new bike right now, this is probably where I’d be rooting around.
